People ask us how we picked the name for our company.  

It’s pretty simple. We wanted
a name that conveys two things: hard work & humble beginnings.

We found it in “Railsplitter” which was Abraham Lincoln’s first nickname.  Long before he became President, Lincoln worked as a soldier, postmaster, surveyor, tavern keeper and a rail splitter.

We will never be even a fraction of the man Abe was, but we do take pride in the fact that we have collectively worked just about every single job that can be found in a credit roll.  Intern, Van Driver, Cue Card Person, PA, AP, Writer, Field Producer, Stuntman, Cinematographer, Director, Executive Producer, Vice President of Development and Programming.  You name it and we’ve probably done it. 

And with our combined experience as network executives and independent producers we have created and made nearly every type of content. From docuseries, sketch comedy and scripted to short form, feature docs and live (event, news and daily talk) shows, we’ve made it all.

Our work has appeared on MTV, HISTORY, NBC, HBO, VH1, A&E, LIFETIME, FUSE, TVLAND & ANIMAL PLANET, and has also screened at seven international film festivals.
